Yes, this is not a joke. The only punchline is what these monsters will do if they see you.

It is said that when the ancient Fae Goddess and Mother of our current Goddesses, Echoia, first made the creatures that walked the realms of light and shadow, she was left with some spare parts.

Rather than waste such precious creations, she created the Fachen.

The Fachen was a gentle giant but was teased and taunted about how silly it looked.

This made the Fachen angrier and angrier...hopping mad if you will.

It tore up a tree and began smashing the heads of those who laughed.

They laughed no more.

Consumed by guilt and bitterness, the Fachen retreated into the darker places, to live amongst those who would accept it.
