Morwenna

Summary

Morwenna is the Fae Goddess of Beasts. She is strong-willed and seen as the toughest and most rebellious of the Goddesses.

As well as keeping an eye on the animals of the world, she has her own little project with the people of Woemarsh, whom she nurtures and has 'blessed' with long life.

Lore

Morwenna is the daughter of the Old Pagan God of Fauna, Carnus.

Carnus fell in love with the Silver Fawn of Galidae. Together they birthed Morwenna in the Glade of F'errenglach, in E'ergreen, aided by the Rootmother who acted as Midwife.

Carnus drowned himself in the Abyss of Solitude when he learned that the Silver Fawn had fallen in love with the Great Stag, Morrendray. The Silver Fawn, discovering this, was consumed with guilt and leapt from a cliff to her death.

Morwenna was raised by the beasts of the forest until she was taken in by The Circle...ageing Goddesses of the Old Way, and raised to be a successor.
