Masters & Skills
You can unlock Skills by visiting the Masters around Quill, and fulfilling their requirements. Gift them what they ask for and you can get new abilities that can improve your gardening, melee and ranged combat, cooking, exploring and fishing.
Twig
Twig is the Fishing Master, from whom you can get the following skills:
• Hook Item - Be able to snag items other than fish, for instance proverbs that might be on out of reach rocks.
• Unzipped Fly - Lure ripple radius increas.e
• Big Hook - more lenient radius for landing on instant hooking fish.
• Fish Eye - highlights where the fish are.
• Dace in the Hole - Gives pinpoint accuracy so your lure lands in centre of the target zone.
• Fish Food - throw food in and all fish will swarm towards it.
• Codswallop - makes a big splash and fish within the landing radius will fly up and land on the hook.
Jogon
Jogon is the Melee Combat Master, from whom you can get the following skills:
• Parry - block incoming assault and projectiles
• Tri-Combo - 3rd combo strike
• Pet Support - start with one pet slot then gain an second
• Syphon - critical hits steals enemy stamina and gives it to you
• Goddess Power - allows you to use use effigies in combat to rain down a special attack
• Second Wind - the player is not killed and gets a quarter of their health bar back
• Boundless - every 50 stamina used, the player enters a zen-like mode where they have some infinite stamina
• Hammerfall - 10 parries in a row causes Jogon to leap straight down and shockwave all enemies with damage and stun.
Moon
Ranged Combat Master Strongarm Dont lose stamina while aiming Scavenge 25% chance to recoup an arrow after shooting Finisher If a non-large enemy has less than 10% health, an arrow will finish them (needs charging til cursor changes colour/gets a skull icon) Reflecting Arrow Chance arrow may hit one target then go hit another Split Arrow 4 arrows are shot and distributed among enemies. If 1 enemy, they get all 4. Is charged Headshot Crits do 25% more damage and lower STR by 3 permanently Elementality Arrows have a 10% chance to be an ice arrow / 10% chance to be a fire arrow / 10% chance to be a lightning arrow weather increases relevant arrow type to 50% (100 for lightning storm) Moonrise Moon appears and angles up her bow and rains down arrows for x seconds onto one enemy - effigy activated one use. for now 10 damage per arrow
