Summary

Kynseed is a life-sim adventure, with a large amount of player freedom. Things may at times seem overwhelming, but there is generally no need to rush. There are a number of in-game means to access help, guidance, and options to tune your experience.

Getting Started

Once the beautiful title screen appears (press any key or button to make the options appear) you are presented with a variety of choices.

New Game

Here you can begin a new adventure. A new save will be created, so do not fear losing previous ones.

Continue

If you have a game already started with a save made, then you can quickly jump right back in.

Load

Select any save you have made. You can see spouses and children and be notified of the year and so on, so you can identify the save if you have multiple ongoing. You can also delete saves from here should you wish to tidy up.

Settings

Here you can change your Display settings, Audio, Controls and various Quality of Life and Accessibility options to tune the play experience to your liking.

When you start a new game you will be given a choice of character style to choose from. You may pick from a selection of head types and hair and skin colours. You can then name your character. When satisfied, continue to the introduction scene. You will then awaken in a strange place. Run to the glade where our friend Pott awaits and answer his questions by running through the door. Please note that the choices you make do not block off any content...they are merely just to alter your initial Stats.

For a look at what buttons or keys do, our Controls section has you covered.
