Summary

Friends & Family is a feature that allows you to repair broken houses and structures, and build certain items on your farm. You do this by making friends and gathering resources, then interacting with the Build Sign by a broken structure or placing a relevant object from your Customisation Catalogue. Some houses get destroyed over time by naughty Hob attacks. These creatures have been infiltrating Quill more and more in recent times, and love nothing better than wrecking things.

How To

Builds cost various resources that can include Wood, Stone and Monster Parts. Wood and stone are obvious building materials, but some monster parts make for very good glue and cement, as well as cloth and coverings.

Wood is obtained from special trees that Quillians are permitted to cut down. Wood can also be gained from some Challenges. These trees regrow 1 log per day.

Stone is mined from Stone Nodes using your pickaxe. It regrows daily. Some Challenges also grant stone as a reward and Ore nodes might even give you some.

Monster parts are gained from Dark Forests, although some can be gained as prizes or bought from various places. They can even be gifts! Thanks, friend!

NOTE: There is one special case of The Circle North Bridge needing Meteoryt. This is a material you get as part of the story very late on, so don't waste time trying to find it before then!

Builds also require a certain Stat limit to be reached for 2 Stats. Find friends who can fulfil the stat criteria.

A build takes time to construct...with small structures taking mere hours and larger ones taking days. You can interact with the Build Sign and gift a meal to your build team to keep them going. If the Energy bar is empty, a build will stop. Gifting a meal adds a day's energy per star rating (each notch on the Energy bar is a day).

Instant Messaging will tell you if a build has issues, as will the Builds Tab in your Journal. You will be notified when a build is ready to reveal. Head to it and interact with the Build Sign, that will now show scissors.

Voila! A shiny new whatever-you-made!
