Lore
Nobody truly knows the origins of Hyalis, including Hyalis herself. Some believe she is the child sprung from a union between the ancient Goddess Gaia and Death himself. Hyalis has an unpredictable will as she weighs up the fates of all living things on her scales. Within Opal, she also keeps order, and the fear of her often brings bickering to an end. Hyalis shows no real emotion, so will not lose her temper, nor show warmth. Her scales do all her talking.
