The Brounie. Brownie. Brunaidh, Uruisg, or Gruagach. Ancient texts have many names for these most enigmatic and mysterious of Fae folk.
It is said a Brounie resembles a small hooded man with a large nose and wrinkly skin. It's eyes are large and blue, and its fingers long and slender.
Brounies love to aid in tasks around the house or orchards and love nothing better than to do some dusting.
Brounies do not like to be seen by normal humans but may show themselves to special ones.
And do not take heed of their cutting words and sarcastic humour. A Brounie is more loyal to a place than any man or beast.
