Quest Introduction

The player receives a mysterious letter regarding a stolen heirloom:

Letter: To whom it may concern,

Someone found my buried chest and took our family heirloom. It was an incredible diamond-studded sword that could cut through stone.

The thief must have snagged their tunic on the chest and left a piece of cloth. You could use this to track them down. Unfortunately, their footprints headed toward Midwood, and there is no way I could go in there.

Find our sword, and I will reward you with another legendary item that I do not cherish quite as much.

• Description: Enter Midwood and search for the stolen heirloom. Reach the final room at any dungeon depth to discover the truth.

Encounter

• Upon reaching the final room in Midwood, you spot a **sword embedded in stone**.
• As you approach, it transforms into a powerful **Water Hag**.

“Fooled you! The Lord of the Dark Heart insists on your death! Come give old Alice Scratcheyes a cuddle! Hahahaha!”

Combat

• Standard combat begins against **Alice Scratcheyes**, an elite Water Hag.

• Upon defeat, she curses you with her final words:

“I failed you, Lord. May my sisters avenge me! Aaaaagghhh!”
