The Jabberwock Appears

Unlocked at: Grandmaster Renown Tier 4

Location: Stonecrown

Type: Triggered World Event

Follow-Up: Leads into final phases of the Jabberwock storyline

Event Trigger

  • After reaching **Grandmaster Renown Tier 4**, walk through Stonecrown to automatically trigger the event.
  • A cutscene begins.

Scene Description

  • The skies darken and bad weather sweeps across the region.
  • Thunder rumbles and wind howls as tension builds.
  • Suddenly, the **Jabberwock** appears in full view for the first time.

Jabberwock Encounter

  • The Jabberwock locks eyes with the player.
  • It lets out a deafening roar, shaking the screen and startling nearby wildlife.
  • Without attacking, it turns and vanishes into the deep wilds of Toughwood.

Notes

  • This marks a major narrative shift and signifies that the Jabberwock is now fully aware of the player.
  • It is a visual/lore event only — no combat or dialogue occurs with the Jabberwock at this stage.
  • Expect more disturbances, tougher enemy spawns, and progression toward the final confrontation.
