As much Brass as you can carry and a very special prize’.

Desc: Enter Simplewood and find the lost child. Set the task as Active and once in Simplewood get to the last room on any level.
If you miss the room, finish the run and re-enter the forest with the task active.


When the player reaches the last room,  Rowan is stood at the front, then transforms into the Hag.

Quest Introduction

The player receives a letter titled **“A Missing Child”**.

Letter: To whom it may concern, None of us has seen our little Rowan for the past few days. She had gone picking wildflowers at the edge of Simplewood as we were camped there passing through. We can only dread that she has been taken into the woods or went in there and got lost.

We found one shoe that you may use to track her. Please help. Your reward will be very much worth it — as much Brass as you can carry and a very special prize.

Task Added

  • Rescue the missing child

Description: Enter Simplewood and find the lost child. You must set the task as Active. Progress through the forest until you reach the **last room on any level**.

Note: If you miss the correct room, finish the forest run and re-enter Simplewood with the task still active.

Encounter

Upon entering the last room of the run:

  • You find Rowan standing alone — until she transforms.

“Fell into my trap, human worm. Come give old Sally Bloodnail a hug! Hahahaha!”

  • Sally Bloodnail, a powerful Elite Hag, attacks.
  • Standard combat ensues.

After Defeating the Hag

Upon taking the final blow, Sally speaks:

“You may have defeated me this time, worm, but IT is aware of you, and IT will eat your soul slowly. Hahahauggghhh…”

Rewards

  • **Lore Unlocked:** Jabberwock is aware of the player, and is drawing more monsters to the land.
  • **Elite Forest Hags** are now unlocked as roaming enemies in future forest runs.
