The important thing about running the tavern is keeping up with customer orders. Drinks are stocked in the barrels on the left and food is stocked in storage on the right.

Two workers are necessary, one for the drinks and one for cooking the food. If you take on the role yourself you will have to balance grabbing drinks from the left with a small minigame to serve, and a small minigame cooking food and serving to customers with the icon.

Entertainers can help improve the rep and gold you earn per hour at a cost. Additional entertainers can be unlocked via perks.

Goddess statues can be discovered all about Quill. Once discovered its central symbol lights up and becomes usable for both fast travel and for making weekly offerings. Each week on Day 7 and 14, a random pair of Goddesses are chosen.

Interacting with the statues brings up two options

Opening the fast travel option brings you to the [[World Map|world map]]. From here you can select a new location to travel to for the cost of 1 Apple.

[[Locations]] where the player has discovered a usable Goddess Statue have their text highlighted in white. Selecting one of these options would allow you to instantly travel to the new location.

Locations that have been visited but have no usable goddess statue have grey text. You will not be able to fast travel to these locations via Goddess Statues. Other methods are available.

On [[Goddess Day]] (Day 7 & 14) the eyes on the statue will light up and the mouth will open. This indicates that the statue is ready for an offering.

When opening the offering menu you must select which one of the pairs of Goddesses to offer an item to.
The pairings are randomised each week.

Once a selection has been made you can cycle horizontally through the available Blessings. The left set of symbols corresponds to one of the Goddesses and the right set corresponds to the other goddess in the pair.

Moving the selection to the left lights up the [[Blessings and Curses|Blessing]] for the left Goddess. At the same time, the right Goddess mirrors the selection by displaying its Curse.
The star rating above each symbol indicates the strength of the Blessing/Curse and the quality of the item that must be offered to unlock it.

It's not possible to please both Goddesses at the same time, you must pick one over the other and suffer the curse alongside the Blessing.

Moving the selection to the right reverses the [[Blessings and Curses]]. You are now making a favourable offering to the opposite Goddess on the right-hand side, whilst simultaneously angering the left.

Once a Blessing is selected you'll be taken to a filtered version of your inventory, displaying only the items that the current Goddess finds appealing at the quality that's necessary for the chosen Blessing.

If you don't have any items that fit this criteria, then you won't be able to make an offering at that spot.

Once you have made an offering the item appears in the bowl and the symbols light up. The Blessing and Curse are shown and play resumes.

The statue's chest will now light up to indicate that an offering has been made this week. The effects of these [[Blessings and Curses]] will last all week, until the next Goddess Day, when everything is reset and you can make new offerings.

You don't have to make an offering at all if you don't wish to.

Things may at times seem overwhelming, but there is generally no need to rush.
There are a number of in-game means to access help, guidance, and options to tune your experience.

Once the beautiful title screen appears (press any key or button to make the options appear) you are presented with a variety of choices.
Load and Continue are fairly self-explanatory, as is Settings.
There are many useful options within the Settings menu, so maybe before you begin, you can adjust the game to more of your liking?
You can access these options at any time in-game. Well, except for in combat or cutscenes, but otherwise, any time.

Here you can begin a new adventure. A new save will be created, so do not fear losing previous ones.

When you start a new game you will be given a choice of character style to choose from.
You may pick from a selection of head types and hair and skin colours.
You can then name your character.

|content= When satisfied, continue to the introduction scene.
Watch the charming introduction about how [[Uncle Bill]] took you from the orphanage known as [[The Shoe]] and brought you to his farm in the Vale, a safe haven in the land of Quill.
You will then awaken in a strange place.
Using a mouse & keyboard or Gamepad, run to the glade where our friend Pott awaits and answer his questions by running through the doors.

Pott is a Brounie, which is a kind of Fae that is loyal to a house and will dust and tidy it if treated well.
Brounies are exceptionally loyal, but also very sarcastic, so don't take his words to heart. He loves you really.
Please note that the choices you make do not block off any content...they are merely just to alter your initial [[Stats]].

After your decisions, you will get one more question from Pott concerning a choice of Pendant (you will be gifted this choice at the end of the [[Prologue]].

Kynseed is a Life Sim Adventure RPG which gives you the freedom to play how you want to.
